Writing Drama
The teacher leads the children in creating a short drama script which they later expand upon themselves. Children work in groups, each group writing a drama script around their task. Children act out their drama for the class. The script is then re-examined and one character becomes either more or less friendly. The children discuss how the script and intonation for speaking would change accordingly. Children then re-write their script and act it out for the class.
